Why Play Lego Indiana Jones?
If you have played Lego Starwars read no further you have played this game already and do not need the info in the post. Lego Indiana Jones is Lego themed game that is full of solving puzzles, finding secrets goodies, and a little bit of action on the side. The game is a straight run through of the Indiana Jones movies with added Lego Themed Jokes. Honestly, humor is what makes Lego “insert movie title here” a good game. There are jokes in the level, in the cut scenes, and even in the loading screens. Lego Indiana Jones’s game play has been engineered to keep the game easy to play and open it up to the widest audience as possible. The controls for the Logo games are purposely kept simple and there is no meaningful penalty when you “die” in the game. Overall Lego Indiana Jones is fun to play, fun to watch and is best enjoyed amongst friends.
Guitar Hero & Aerosmith?
And a special award goes out to Chauna Wall for most improved guitar hero play at a 1215 program.
What do you think of Rock Band?
Rock Band…..is awesome. What more is there to say? I set this game up in the Main Library and people flock to it like it’s a real concert. You can have up to 4 people playing at a time. (Vocals, bass, guitar, drums) Lead guitar is the star of the game. Whoever is the best at the game should always play the guitar track or no one will have any fun. The singing is easy to nail you just need to kind of know the words. But if you want to you could just go “bla bla bla” at close to the right pace and score reasonably well on vocals. Bass is kind of a joke. Expert on bass is like medium on guitar. (and that is why I like to play bass) One neat feature is, if someone on your team loses it, that band have a chance of saving them before the whole band is kicked off the stage. Anyway…Rock Band is a great game that is available for most consoles; the only drawback is the hefty price tag that comes with the game.

What do you think of Mario Kart?
What’s going on here?
I recently began hosting game demonstrations during 12:15 Meetings at the Main Branch of the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County Library system. As a part of this project-o-mine, I plan on posting my thoughts on the different games I demo. I hope that you enjoy my reviews.
